Do I need a piano at home to take piano lessons?
Yes, you do need a suitable instrument to practice on regularly.
Do I pay for books and sheet music separately?
No, all materials are included in the tuition cost.
Do I need to take private lessons to be in a group class?
No, we offer a wide range of group classes for all skill levels. For K-12 students enrolled in private lessons, we have three Enrichment (group) classes per year. These replace the private lesson for the week. Also, Summer Workshops are offered to expand musical experiences and serve as a makeup for summer vacations.
Do I have to play at all recitals?
No. While we encourage our students to show their wonderful talent and share their music with others, we do not require participation in recitals.
Do I need to own an instrument to take lessons?
You will be required to bring your own instrument to play except for piano.
Do you offer trial lessons to see if I enjoy the instrument?
Book a consultation with an instructor or you can pay for one trial lesson to give it a go. For group classes, we encourage you to visit a class, free of charge.
Are group classes priced individually?
Group classes are an up-front commitment to gurantee spots as classes fill quickly and vary throughout the year.
Do you offer virtual lessons?
We offer virtual lessons on an as needed basis.
