Piano Lessons
We offer piano lessons for students of all ages and abilities from beginners to advanced students. We have students who want to play just for fun and students who participate in competitions and festivals. Some students enjoy composing, others want to learn chords or read from a lead sheet, and many learn more traditionally by reading notes on the page. Whether interested in classical or pop music, we will start students learning piano with the basics through group classes. Students coming to our studio with experience will have a consultation to help determine which class is best or will be placed with a private instructor.
Where Do I start?
The Piano Express
With 6 levels to accomplish, the Piano Express is meant for beginning piano students to learn the basics in a fun, creative, and collaborative group environment before taking private lessons. The goal of the program is for each student to progress to a new color bracket as their skills improve. This hour-long class is split into two sections, with the first being time spent working with the tablet and keyboard practicing songs and during the second section, students come together to collaborate at the keyboards with the master instructor.
Each student can practice at home by logging into the app. Students are able to practice and “pass” songs without having to wait for their next lesson. Students in traditional lessons have to wait until they see their instructor next to move onto the next song in their book, but with the tech-advantage of this program, students excel at a quicker rate. This method also instills great practice routines and rhythmic awareness – an added bonus!
Based on a yearly schedule of 42 lessons divided equally into 11 months (September-July), tuition is as follows:
- 60-minute Piano Classes: $138 per month for K-12 students
- 60-minute Piano Classes: $125.75 per month for adults
- First Sibling Registration Discount: $123.50 per month*
- Second Sibling Registration Discount: $117.00 per month*
*For families with 2 or more siblings in The Piano Express, there is a discounted rate. The 1st student will be charged the regular rate and the other siblings will receive a discounted rate.
Musikgarten at the Keyboard
Music Makers at the Keyboard is a transitional class for those who have been a part of the Musikgarten program. It is a sound before sight process that is not a traditional approach to learning piano. With three years of keyboard classes, students are well prepared for private study of any instrument. Students experience a thorough musical education including singing, listening, learning about composers, transposition, chord recognition, playing by ear and reading notation.
Semesters include 15 weeks of 60-min. classes once a week. Parents come in for the last 15 minutes of each class.

Enrichment Classes
Enrichment classes are 60-minute sessions included in tuition and the musical experience The Studio Connection provides for students grades K-12. Adults do not have lessons during these weeks of Enrichment, outlined on the Studio calendar. School-age students in Piano Express choose a class to replace the week’s scheduled private lesson. This is a great way to interact in a group setting with fun musical activities, games, and low-pressure performance opportunities. Students choose the class that interests them based on topic, age grouping, and scheduling.
